“Hi! I'm Aynsley! I specialize in gender affirming styles, curly hair and wigs. I attended Douglas J Aveda institute in Grand Rapids and got my cosmetology license in 2017. Since then, I have worked in salons in Grand Rapids and Chicago. In 2021, I became an independent stylist! I have many years experience in theatre and opera including Wigs and Makeup Designer at Opera Grand Rapids, Wigs Supervisor on the national tour of My Fair Lady and Wigs Substitute on the First National Tour of Ain't Too Proud: Life and Times of the Temptations. When I'm not in the salon or backstage, I am planning my wedding or taking our cat for a walk. I cannot wait to learn all about you. Extroverted to the bone, I’m incredibly grateful to have a job where I get to make friends (and not sit in front of a computer) all day. I’m passionate about giving you the freedom and tools to define your look, so I’ll work hard to arm you with all the knowledge you need for your hair to look and feel its best.”
